Introduction
LKF-F2X70 is an inertial angular rate sensor based on the optical Sagnac effect, which is used to measure the angular rate of the carrier along the sensitive axis of the product. The angular rate sensing unit of this product is an optical fiber coil and a digital closed-loop detection circuit is used to extract the optical path difference of the optical fiber coil sensitive to the clockwise and counterclockwise propagation light caused by the external physical angular velocity, and at the same time, the optical path difference signal is converted into a voltage signal. Closed-loop feedback and control realize signal modulation and demodulation, and achieve the purpose of high-precision angular velocity signal detection.
By reducing the outer diameter of fiber to 135μm,Thin PM fiber solution decreases extremely the size of fiber coils and delivers outstanding precision performance in fiber coils, which is applied for miniaturization of FOGs. And, the coils are wound precisely through quadrupole symmetry method.
The miniatured fiber optic gyros have excellent advantages of compact and cost-effective, and are easy to integrate and ideal for UAV, photoelectric pod, optical platform, and so on.
